This ea owl was withdrawn from kiln while still burning. The texture of the tea bowl turns to black by cooling it suddenly. Process of rapidly cooling could damage the tea bowl and only small percentage of production survives to make it to end product. Crack left during the cooling process forms a unique pattern on the tea bowl. The end product creates a coloring similar to that of black and red wine. This is the work of solid temperaments with many unique feature. It is a strongly recommended art piece. /Taijiro ITO Bizen Gallery Aoyama
