Kosuke KANESHIGE
  • 1943 Born in Okayama, as the third son of Toyo KANESHIGE
  • 1968 Graduated from the Sculpture Course, Fine arts Department, Tokyo National University of Arts and Music
  • 1970 Completed the postgraduate course of the University
  • 1975 Started to exhibit pottery
  • 1977 Returned to Bizen after serving as a lecturer at Tokai University
  • 1982 Built a kiln
  • 1988 Invited to exhibit at the Suntory Museum of Art Grand Prize Exhibition
  • 1991 Installed a ceramic sculpture (Miyazaki Village, Fukui Prefecture)
  • Installed a ceramic wall (Insurance Japan Building in Okayama)
  • 1992 Invited exhibit at Ceramic Arts of Today 100 Selections in Japan, sponsored by NHK and held in Paris
