As the largest art fair held in Japan, "ART FAIR TOKYO" has reached its' fifth time attracting many since the year 2005.  Although there are art fairs around the globe with interesting concepts, "ART FAIR TOKYO" stands out because of its' high quality and also how it covers such a  diverse genre starting from classical art, craft to Japanese and Western style painting and contemporary works. The previous art fair in 2009 had more than 45,000 visitors which show how great an interest is taken. And this year too,"ART FAIR TOKYO" will be held at the Tokyo International Forum inviting 140 galleries, international and domestic.

This year, Bizen Gallery Aoyama is most happy to join this exciting event for the first time. We would be exhibiting works by Anjin ABE mainly his Saishiki Bizen, and also placing Emi UCHIDAs drawings on the wall.Mr. Abes quest for the plastic arts has always been remarkable, but the creation of this particular Saishiki pitcher is truly astonishing with its dynamism. The coloration itself is beautiful, also forceful taking a more pictorial approach.Other works such as Sake cups have a different impression according to which side you look at from, presenting an image of flowers, birds or Mt. Fuji dazzling in gold on the front, and abstract patterns painted in red, blue and green at the back. It has a very chic touch to it with the matiere of the soil showing under the glaze. We are most certain that his creation would be given applauses from people who visit the venue.

We are also very grateful to be able to have this opportunity which Mr. Abe has so kindly offered, and obliged for this wonderful experience. We look forward to meeting as many customers as possible. Thank you very much.
